While unfortunate that a church should ever need this booklet, the fact remains that many do. I have spent some time in the role of senior (by time, not by age) deacon during a church's search for a new pastor. And when I searched for a book that helped along these lines, only one appeared - but it required purchase from a website that certainly appeared to be neither Baptistic nor King James Only. That lone other book may have offered great insight, but for those reasons, I'll never know.
Instead, I called several established pastors known for training young men and organizing churches. These pastors would know about churches calling pastors and our church needed their advice. After taking copious notes from each call, the process-oriented part of my brain crystalized the guidance into a flow chart, and this small booklet was born.
The main booklet includes all Sunday School lessons and the Questionnaire, but I've separated them out below for ease of use. (NOTE: I lost or clobbered lesson 4 - I'll get it uploaded shortly.)
